ITINERARY:
Day 01: Depart for Kolkata

Day 2 Kolkata - Gantok
On arrival in Kolkata we will be met and transferred to the hotel for wash & change before we connect our flight to Bagdogra. We will drive from Bagdogra to Gangtok (1,547 metres; 123 kilometres; 4-5 hours). On arrival we will check into the hotel for two nights.

Day 3 Gangtok
A sightseeing tour is scheduled for us this day including a visit to Rumtek Monastery (1,550 metres).

Day 4 Rumtek - Fambonglha Wildlife Sanctuary
We will drive to the village of Sang from where we start our trek to Fambonglha Wildlife Sanctuary. The trek is a very pleasant one along the ridge through the forests and with views of Mount Kanchenjunga. We will stay at Martam overnight.

Day 5 Drive to Rabang La
We will drive to Rabang La (1,951 metres; 65 kilometres; 3-hour drive) after breakfast. We will stop enroute at Temi Tea Estate to watch the processing of tea. We will spend two nights in Rabang La.

Day 6 Rabang La
We will walk towards Maenam Hill (3,200 metres) this morning passing through the forests of Magnolia, Rhododendron and Bamboo.

Day 7 Rabang La - Pelling
This morning we head to Pelling where we visit the old capital of Sikkim. We will stay at the hotel for two nights.

Day 8 Pelling
We will drive to Pemayangste monastery today returning to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take an excursion through the lovely forests to Sangachoeling monastery.

Day 9 Pelling - Darjeeling
This morning we will drive to Darjeeling (3-4 hours drive). On arrival we will check into our hotel for two nights.

Day 10 Darjeeling
A sightseeing tour of the town is scheduled for this day.

Day 11 Darjeeling - Meghma
From Darjeeling, we will drive to Manebhanjang from where we start our trek to Meghma via Tonglu (2,900 metres; 4-kilometre walk).

Day 12 Trek to Gairibas
We will take a day's excursion to Gairibas (6 kilometres). The trail is wide and dotted with tiny houses, every bend on the trail offering views of the Kanchenjunga range of mountains. Return to Meghma. Drive to Darjeeling. Overnight in the Windamere Hotel.

Day 13 Darjeeling - Kolkata
We will drive from Darjeeling to Bagdogra in time to connect our flight to Kolkata. On arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 Kolkata - Onward Destination
The entire day is free for individual activities. We will transfer to the international airport in time to connect our flight to onward destination.
