About Our Company
We began
in 1985 when Ravi S. Kalra and his wife Gurmeet opened an office in Delhi
and offered mostly adventure tours to areas they knew particularly well in
India under their own leadership. By 1993 we were offering a variety of
cultural and adventure tours being led by a professional team to
destinations all over India. We started our tailor-made wildlife tours in
1996 focussing on the Great Cats of India. By 1998 we had widened our vistas
and had professional and experienced tour leaders offering a plethora of
bird watching and large mammals tours to all corners of India. We
established a base in the overseas market with our office in Winchester, UK
to be in touch with you and to understand your needs better. We are
recognized by Government of India, Ministry of Tourism and are active
members of prestigious travel associations like Pacific Asia Travel
Association (PATA), Indian Association of tour Operators (IATO),
Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Adventure Tour Operators
Association of India (ATOI), Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF)
and Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI).
The
prestigious National Tourism Award for excellence in inbound tourism segment
for three consecutive years 1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2000-2001
reflected the recognition and the faith of the Ministry of Tourism,
Government of India in us and helped us consolidate our base. We now proudly
present 'wildlifeinindia' with a focus to wild habitats of India, which we
think would spring pleasant surprises to you. Our aim is to help you fulfill
your dream of seeing the true wild India in style and reasonable comfort.
